Such a heart wrencher at the end. I'm glad to read below that you can save Miliyra. I suppose next season it would eventually happen anyway (hopefully), but I was pretty upset when it said "You didn't save Miliyra." I honestly don't how I could have been more loyal and supportive to the main characters. The only person I knew for sure can't be saved was Steven. He was fated to die... Until next season, and thanks!

I am curious, can you stop steven from dying
As the story continues, Charles is imprisoned, Steven and Folduin die. Depending on your personality and the decisions you make, these characters can change their minds against you, help you or send soldiers to you. The other characters (Noah, Remmy, Miliyra, Laura, Hudson) are much more detailed. You can reach the 5 different endings of the game with one of these characters, or you can be alone in the 6th ending, which is the worst ending. Each character has a different dialog with you at the end and can give you important clues you need for the next game.
